a night of celebration
We were invited to attend The Addison Grove’s Grand Opening Celebration. I did not know what to expect from this new venue. We arrived at The Addison Grove during ‘golden hour’, that time of the day when they sun is about to set and everything is painted with the golden glow of the sun. I feel like everything is more beautiful during this time of day.
This premier venue is located less than 20 minutes away from downtown Austin, Texas. Its ideal location allows guests to enjoy the charm of Austin’s hill country, while still being close enough to enjoy all that the city has to offer.
As the doors open and you enter the rustic yet modern barn style venue, you are captivated by the grand, glass chandeliers that have been hung and contrast beautifully against the large overhead beams.
The venue has been masterfully designed with beautiful white windows perfectly placed to allow sunlight in.
Did I mention the chandeliers? These have also been placed outside, hanging from tree branches. They bring a touch of elegance and daintiness to the rugged massive oak trees.

The grand opening celebration
The grand opening celebration began as soon as we opened the doors. We were received by the incredible aroma of freshly ground espresso beans.
I picked their Kentucky Derby Caramel Cocktail and I loved it! I highly recommended! It was the perfect shot of dark, bitter espresso, topped with foamy milk and a pop of sweetness from the candy caramel. Delicious!
The event was put together by Clinkevents and CRAVE catered it flawlessly.
Delicious hors d’oeuvres were served & each plated just as amazing as they tasted.
This was one of 4 bars at the event. It was so beautifully decorated.
We tried the Kentucky Derby Mule and the Addison Groove.
Evening came and the golden lights from the venue lit up the night.
Inside the party grow louder, the venue was filled with laughter & dancing.
TCaboose the band did their thing and had everyone on the dance floor…
The Venue also has luxurious bridal house. The 1,800 square foot house serves as an elegant preparation room for the bride and her bridal party.
One of the evenings greatest surprises was the lip bar by LipServicexo!! I was able to sit with Billy, a color specialist and create my very own lipstick shade. It was amazing!
I can’t begin to describe how amazing it was to create my own lipstick! Billy was so helpful!! I was able to pick out the perfect shade and see the process of how my lipstick was made from start to finish. Ladies this is a must, at least once in a lifetime-but I am convinced that once you see the end results, you will go back for more. Contact Lipservicexo and set a date & please mention that Melissa from Glammed Events sent you!
…all good things must come to an end. Fireworks lit up the night to mark the end of a pretty perfect grand opening celebration.
What a dreamy place to celebrate a wedding, a corporate event or even a huge bash! If you are looking for a rustic, yet modern and very elegant venue for your next event, I would highly recommend checking out Addison Grove. The staff are so attentive to detail & to their clients, they will not disappoint. Contact Addison Grove and mention that Melissa from Glammed Events sent you ( for a little extra treat!).
