 Mouthwatering, store bought dinner rolls that have been elevated in a few easy, time saving steps.  These little bites are packed with flavor & bite size fun. Its a quick and easy recipe that you can make and still have enough time for plating! Come on let me show you how!

 INGREDIENTS

 2 pks. of Dinner Rolls

5 Tbsp. unsalted butter

Parmigiano Reggiano Cheese wedge

1 Sprig of fresh Thyme

1 Sprig of fresh Rosemary

 INSTRUCTIONS

Step 1

Open 2 packs of your favorite dinner rolls. Pre-heat oven to 300 degrees.

Step 2

Wash herbs. Remove leaves from the stems and finely chop.

Step 3

Place un-melted butter in a small bowl. Add cut herbs and mix until combined.

Step 4

Now comes my favorite part……the cheese. Grate the Parmigiano Reggiano into butter bowl. Be sure to use real parmesan cheese (hint: look for the pin-dots spelling out Parmigiano Reggiano on the rind to make sure you are getting the real deal).

Step 5

Grab a baking sheet and line with parchment paper. Place your dinner rolls on the baking sheet.

Step 6

Add small amount of your Parmigiano Reggiano/herb & butter mix, to each roll.

Step 7

Grate extra Parmigiano Reggiano cheese  on the rolls.

Step 8

Bake dinner rolls in a 300 degree oven for about 5 min or until the cheese has melted over your rolls. You will want to keep an eye on your rolls.

Step 9

Remove your dinner rolls from your baking sheet and place into your favorite serving platter! enjoy!

Hope you enjoy this delicious appetizer! This is my favorite dish to take to dinner parties.  The long aging process of the Parmigiano Reggiano makes it naturally lactose-free. For rich flavor don’t buy pre-grated parmesan, buy a wedge of Parmigiano Reggiano! Freshly grate the cheese from the wedge for the most intense flavor. Use the wedge on a cheese board eaten raw, or shave pieces onto a salad. Use the rind to flavor a delicious homemade broth.
