WELCOME

We all have the desire to be good hosts and have our guest feel welcomed in our homes. we want them to leave feeling good and that they have had a good time. Guests will always remember how you made them feel, rather than one particular thing you said. A good host is well prepared and knows how to provide a good and comfortable atmosphere.

I am sharing with you, one of my ideas on hosting guests from out of town…behold the Guest Welcome Cart.  It is by far one of the greatest ideas ever for hosting and making guests feel welcomed. Let me share with you +all about Guest Welcome Carts, in hopes that you too will be inspired and do this during your holidays, while hosting guests in your own homes.

WIFI NETWORK AND PASSWORD

WIFI NETWORK AND PASSWORD

We all want to stay connected during the holidays -including your guests.  They  will most likely be asking you for your network and password -if they feel comfortable enough to ask. Providing them with this information ahead of time is a really nice and welcoming gesture. Your guests will appreciate that you have thought of them and that you have taken the time to style it so beautifully. Its all about the details; a nice frame next to a cute arrangement of flowers creates a stunning presentation.

TOILETRIES AND SNACKS

TOILETRIES AND SNACKS

While traveling, we have all forgotten to pack certain toiletries.  You can make your guests feel welcomed by providing some toiletries that they might find themselves needing. Think of items that hotels rooms tend to provide for their guests -to make them feel welcome, that should give you a great idea on what to fill your basket with.

I also recommend placing a nice basket filled with snacks and water bottles. Your guests might not feel comfortable enough to grab a snack or two from your pantry; or even know their way around your kitchen to get water at night.  Providing them with a snack and water bottles will make their stay a lot more pleasant.

TOWELS AND SOAP BARS

The cart is also a great place to provide your guests with extra towels and soaps. Its always so nice to have the option of an extra clean towel or two. Storing them in the cart means freeing up space in the bathroom.  So roll those extra towels, and add a little mesh baggie with a couple drops of lavender or your favorite fresh scented essential oil and place them on your cart.

Now you have a cart full of great goodies, details and stuff that your guest might need or will simply enjoy! Get creative and personalize your cart for your guests!
