I started this blog for me!  Blogging is my dream job. It was totally selfish ya’ll.  I was a mother with no time to invest in herself.  When my youngest started kindergarten this year, I was lost. For the first time in nearly 8 years I was sitting in an empty, quiet house with more free time than I was used to.

This time it was for me.

I was going to do something that I loved.  I wanted to choose my hours, in my terms, a job that allowed me invest in my passions, but also give me the flexibility to spend time with my kids, to love on them and be present for them.  So I began blogging.

At first, Glammed Events was a gallery of all of the parties that I was planning or styling. It was also a way for me to share different tutorials and projects that I crafted for clients.  I was looking for a way to encourage moms to add  glamour and beautiful details to their parties. I knew that with a little help, moms out there could also make glam parties for their kiddos and loved ones.

Somewhere along the way I began crafting amazing birthday candles  for my customers.

I was pretty busy crafting candles and selling them on my Etsy shop.  It was a success story and I was making money on the side…

but something was missing.

I wanted a little more and I am not talking money. I wasn’t looking to make more money or get rich (don’t get me wrong making more money is something that I did and do desire) but I needed to find that one thing, I needed to focus in on what I was passionate aboutThat’s what I was searching for this time around.  Making money would follow.
