The 2018 Leander Bluegrass Festival is October 12 and 13, 2018 from 6-10 p.m. at the Mason Homestead located at 1101 S. Bagdad Road. This FREE ADMISSION event is sponsored by BlueLine Rental, Lisa Reed State Farm, Clawson Disposal and features live music, concessions, kids zone, and a variety of vendors.

Old Town Christmas Festival in Leander Tx

Saturday December 1st, Old Town Leander comes will be filled with Christmas joy! Hosted by the city and Leander Chamber of Commerce, holiday activities include the Old Town Rudolph Run, Christmas Marketplace, Hometown Parade, petting zoo, snow zone, pictures with Santa, live music and theater, and local food and craft vendors and more.
9:30am – Town Rudolph Run
Our third annual Rudolph Run is a 5K
9:30+am (after the race) – Christmas Marketplace
Shortly after the Rudolph Run, holiday vendors will be open for business in Old Town until 9 p.m. Enjoy children’s activities, live music and theater productions, crafts, food shopping and more.
6pm Hometown Parade and Tree Lighting
Local businesses, nonprofits, community partners and city officials come together in this evening Christmas parade through Old Town Leander starting at 6 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 1, with a ceremonial tree lighting to follow.

Holiday Stroll Downtown Austin

Start off the holiday season at the Downtown Austin Alliance’s Holiday Stroll. Taking place all along Congress Avenue between 9th and 11th street.
Activities will take place from 5:00 to 10:00 pm.
Its a night of holiday cheer, in downtown Austin, including the annual KUT Austin & KUTX 98.9.
Holiday Sing-Along and the lighting of the downtown tree.
This is a FREE, family-friendly event. The Holiday Stroll has something for everyone: photos with Santa, a petting zoo, live ice sculpture, holiday arts & crafts, a live mural painting, local food trucks, artisan vendors, and more.
