father's day DIY basket

Father’s Day is  just around the corner and if you are anything like me, I am usually scrambling, trying to figure out what to gift my husband.  This year, I got a head start on the planning and gift buying thanks to Jack Links® Original Beef Jerkymy husband’s favorite snack!

I decided to curate a manly gift basket for him! One filled with all of his favorite snack and self care products. Sometimes it can be hard to shop for the men we love. But no matter their hobbies or interests, every man uses some sort of self care product; be it shaving cream or a bar of soap. These men work hard, they deserve a little pampering too! That is why a {manly} snack & face care gift basket is the perfect Father’s Day gift. This DIY Gift Basket looks great and its super easy to put together!!

I love purchasing Jack Links® Beef Jerky for Clyde, they are made with 100% real beef and for a guy who loves to work out and is always counting macros-its a great snack with a good source of protein.  Jack Links® Beef Jerky are more than just for road trips or outdoor snacking. They can be enjoyed as a part of daily snacking or other usage occasions!

The key to keeping this Snack and Face Care gift basket from becoming too girly is to think about the colors you’re using. I kept things manly by using a metal basket and choosing items in dark amber bottles, brown and black tones.  I filled in the gaps between each product with some brown paper shred that almost has a sawdust feel to it. Since sawdust is basically man glitter, am I right?

Once I had all of my items in the basket and the brown paper shred; I finished the basket with a white ribbon and a paper rosette that had a mini chalkboard tag on top. If you are looking for a tutorial on how to make a Paper Rossette check this one out by Creative Baby shower Ideas.
