the
Kids Care kit
The lazy, hazy, crazy days of summer are here. So are the pool trips, the playdates, spending the day out in the sun & heat, bbq eating & traveling with kids! Aaahh, can you smell it? I believe what you smell is fear…of meltdowns, scrapes, tummy aches, sunburns, tears…etc… but fear not, you have a Kids Care kit & you are prepared (and if you don’t, here is how you can get one).

What’s in a Kids Care kit?
First, I want to point out that my kids care kit is not a first aid kit; I have an emergency bag (post coming soon) in the car for everyone. My Kids Care kit contains everything that I would need for any kid emergency during this summer. Inside my kit I have the following:
- Beach Towels
- Extra Clothes
- Bathing Suits
- Wipes
- Sunscreen
- sunburn lotion
- Bug Spray
- Sunglasses
- Snacks
- Gallon size plastic zipper bags
- Garbage bags
- water bottles
- mini sleeping bags
- a roll of toilet paper
- coloring books and crayons

Also, I recommend investing in Large ziplock bags this summer! They are amazing! I like to place the kids extra clothes inside of them…but they are also great at holding smelly/dirty/wet clothes. I have also found them to be an amazing way to pack my kids clothes, when traveling on vacation. An outfit a day per bag! Check out how to pack your kids vacation bag (post coming soon) here.

Lastly, I want to share one finally life changing tip! I have an Ikea Foldable storage box* plastic tub that is large enough to hold my kids sleeping bags, picnic blanket, a waterproof tote bag*, a kiddie potty* & the kids care kit. I love how it keeps everything so neat an organized and my trunk looking decluttered. I am in my car a lot during the summer and I like knowing where everything is; this plastic tub it helps me find what I am looking for fast! What’s in your Kid Care Kit? comment below please!
