Y’all, I can’t tell you how excited I am that Lucy’s fried chicken opened up in Cedar Park!! It has been much anticipated by my crew and I because we absolutely love their food. We usually go the their Burnet location, but its so nice to have one in North Austin. Cedar Park . Leander area.

I feel like their menu has something for everyone. Their fried chicken is my recommendation, but I have yet to taste a dish I didn’t like. I mean check out their special’s board today: beer battered zucchini fries!? yum!!! Doesn’t that sound amazing? If it doesn’t you should try their Hangover fries – they will blow you away.

Family Friendly

I have always thought that they were very family friendly. The serving staff has always been very patient with my kiddos, the seating areas are so kid friendly; their vibe in general is fun. This location has a cool patio area with a playground -hanging out as a family is even funner. Take your littles and go hangout. Clyde and I love restaurants with playgrounds or kid friendly patios – because while the kids play, we can have mini dates.

Lucy’s Fried Chicken

I usually order their fried chicken and waffles. In this location, its only offered on Sundays as part of their brunch menu. Save a Sunday and go try it -its amazing. We also recommend the hangover fries. It was large enough to share. The kids usually share a chicken and waffles with an extra side of waffle. Y’all, you will not regret going to Lucy’s and trying out their chicken. They also have the bucket o’ chicken – try that with their cajun fries…y’all I need to stop writing about this place, because my mouth is watering just thinking about this chicken. yum!
