Maple Cookie Dough Energy Balls
This is a fun and easy to make recipe that you can totally try to make with the kids. It has become one of our favorite snacks, after I make them I store them in a sealed tight container and I keep the container on my countertop. I love that the kids snack on them throughout the day. They are packed with goodness and are actually good for them! ha! So it’s a win all around. I modified this recipe from Women of Today’s Cookie Dough Energy ball that you can find here.
INGREDIENTS:
- 2 cups organic rolled oats
- 2 cups flaked unsweetened coconut
- 1/2 cup organic peanut butter, or almond butter as a substitute
- 1/2 cup organic honey
- 1/4 cup chia seeds
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp vanilla
- 1/2 cup organic chocolate chips
Once you have gathered all your ingredients, you are ready to start making these amazing energy balls!
I hope you try making these with the kids. They can get a little messy but I promise the results are wonderful and you will have lots of great memories in making them.
