Let’s sail away to see this 1st birthday nautical themed party
My baby boy was turning 1 and I wanted to create something really special for him. His birthday is in the middle of summer; so we planned an amazing pool side party for him and his friends. No detail was left untouched; from the extravagant dessert table to the small sail boats floating in the pool. Red, white and blues were combined to fill the party with color and fun. Rustic details added a creative nautical touch to the party.

We styled an array of desserts on the table. Each unique and delicious. Cupcakes, pop corn, Swedish Fish candy, cake pops, jello cups and of course the cake!

The drinks table was the Lifeguard station. We decorated with lifesavers, a beautiful borrowed lifeguard sign and hand sewn banners. Be sure to check out our lifesaver tutorial and see how easy it is to make your very own lifesavers.

The food table was something to admire. We used a crisp white table cloth with a colorful and we sprinkled anchor shaped confetti all over the table.

Catered sandwiches, jell-o sail boats, melon craved to look like a sand bucket, chips, & veggy cups were amongst the food served at our party.
