Its the end of February and I see signs of life.

After a couple of cold weeks and some below freezing days, we are back at milder weather. We have had a couple of warm, or should I say really hot days here in Texas. I believe it was in the 90’s last week, by the looks of it, this summer is going to be hot! We have taken advantage of the weather to get a couple of things taken care on the garden. We cut down all of the Plumbago to about 5 inches from the ground.

Now they have started to come in nicely. Look at those baby greens. I can’t wait to see how spectacular (and green) this will all look soon.

We treated some trouble areas in the grass and spread some Lawn food. Our next step will be the mulch all the flower beds; this helps protect all our plants from the hot Texan sun!

Love!
