You’re a mom. Like me, you are trying to balance life, feed everyone, keep everyone’s schedules flowing smoothly, & try to have a little time leftover for yourself – so that you can remove the cheerios from your hair, and have a second to change your pj’s into something more acceptable – your yoga pants. Its a lot to handle and balance – but we totally love our jobs as chaos coordinators and tear wipers, right ?!?

With a busy schedule, as you may relate, I am always looking for ways to maximize my time and to find ways to simplify my life; making my to do list a little manageable. One area in which I have always needed extra help has been maintaining my house clean. Not that its dirty, I just need to have a clean and organized house all the time -its sorta an inherited blessing and curse that I received from my mom.  I like things in their place, hence my post & FREE 30 day-organizational challenge on how to organize your house, one room at a time.

In dreamland, my house would clean itself, or I would have one fo those robot maids the Jetson’s had- the one that cleaned their entire house in seconds! BUT I don’t live in dreamland, and neither do you.

So…

I want to share some of the tools that I have invested in that have helped me keep a house clean. These are items that I have personally used and that I am still using -tried and tested.   1. iRobot Roomba 890 Robot Vacuum with Wi-Fi Connectivity : This little robot has been such a game changer in my house. It does the work of a Swiffer and a broom.  You can set up the times you need it to sweep your floors and it will get the job done. An added bonus is that it picks up fine dust particles, perfect for allergy suffers like me. Did I mention pet hair? We have an Australian Shepherd who sheds constantly, this amazing little robot does an amazing job picking up hair from every single corner! Totally worth the investment!

The Shark Sonic Duo floor Cleaner has been another game changer in cleaning my house. I no longer have to scrub my floors with a mop. I simply hold my Shark floor cleaner and it does all the scrubbing. An added bonus is that I am able to shine/buffer my floors with it.  I spray a small amount of High Gloss polish, my floors are transformed.

Smart POP UP Collapsible Laundry Basket – Space Saving Foldable Storage Container – EASY to use and carry – Versatile Portable Organizer :  Laundry baskets are so useful, but they take up so much space.! These amazing collapsable laundry baskets have changed my laundry days. Easy to use baskets that have great handles; they fit as much clothes are my non-collapsable baskets- but now they only take up about two inches of my laundry room space!
