AVOCADO HUMMUS RECIPE

In the quest to discover delicious, nutritious, REAL food that is preservative and additive free; I have discovered the perfect hummus recipe. I don’t hate food, in fact I love it -but I also love living a healthy, fulfilling life and that requires a lot of energy. I was tired of being a tired mom and I did something about it. I began working out, getting more active & changing up our eating habits.  Life changes, no diets here!

Part of life is Fun Fridays (when my ladies and their kiddos all get together to play and talk) its a fantastic way to end the week.  We all bring snacks and sit around and talk while our kiddos play. So this Fun Friday I wanted to bring something a little different ( real, nutritious & delicious ) and so I made this avocado hummus. To my surprise it was a hit and I am sharing this recipes for my ladies and for you! enjoy!

AVOCADO HUMMUS RECIPE

A V O C A D O   H U M M U S   R E C I P E

Ingredients:

  • 1 Can of Goya Chick peas
  • 1 Tbl. of Tahini Paste
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 tsp. of salt
  • 2-3 Tbls. Extra Virgin Olive Oil ( +a little extra when serving)
  • 2 lg. Avocados

Materials:

  • Blender
  • measuring spoons
  • serving bowl

Instructions:

  1. add the entire can of Goya brand Chick Peas ( with water)
  2. add the Tahini sauce
  3. add the salt
  4. peel and add the garlic cloves
  5. add 2 Tbls. of Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  6. lastly add the avocado.
  7. Turn the blender on and make sure all ingredients mix well.
  8. Add a drizzle of Olive oil on top and pour into serving plate/bowl.

Avocado Hummus

A delicious, creamy and rich hummus that pairs perfectly with tortilla chips or your favorite veggies. enjoy!

Ingredients

  • 1 can Can of Goya Chick peas
  • 1 Tbsp Tahini Paste
  • 2 large Garlic cloves
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 3 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 2 large Avocados

Materials needed:

-blender

-measuring spoons

-serving bowl

Instructions

  1. 1-Into a blender, please add the entire can of Goya brand Chick Peas ( with water)

    2- then add the Tahini sauce

    3- next add the salt

    4- peel and add the garlic cloves

    5 -add 2 Tbls. of Extra Virgin Olive Oil

    6- lastly add the avocado.

    7-Turn the blender on and make sure all ingredients mix well.

    8- Finally, pour the mixture into a  serving bowl & finish by drizzling Olive oil on top.

    Enjoy with tortilla chips or veggies!
