In the cool winter months I love holding a warm cup of hot chocolate or Hot Cocoa like I like to call it. It keeps me warm and I just really enjoy the sweet taste of chocolate. Being dairy free now, I have found it really hard to find a non-dairy alternative milk to make a tasty Hot Cocoa…until now! This recipe has no refined sugars and I use 100% hot cocoa! yum!!

Coconut Milk Hot Cocoa -dairy free recipe
Enjoy this delicious and dairy free hot cocoa or hot chocolate recipe. No refined sugars and packed with flavor!
Ingredients
- 1 cup Coconut Milk
- 1 Tbsp 100% Cocoa Powder
- 1 Tbsp 100% Maple Syrup
Instructions

Pour 1 Cup of Coconut Milk into your small pot.

Turn on your stove to Medium high heat.

While the coconut milk comes to temp. Add 1 Tablespoon of Cocoa Powder.

Next, add 1 Tablespoon of Maple syrup and stir.

Allow milk to warm while you stir everything together for about 1 minute.

Turn off heat.

Pour Hot Cocoa into your favorite mug and enjoy!
