FOR YOUR FAMILY. A DELICIOUS AND EASY TO MAKE APPETIZER, THAT IS PACKED
WITH SAVORY FLAVORS.
Crispy on the outside and savory, soft & cheesy on the inside. I remember bitting into one of these as child growing up in Puerto Rico. They were the perfect little appetizers that doubled as lunch, because we
could’t stop at just one. Truly mouthwatering Puerto Rican fritters, these are small appetizers that you need to try and serve to your family. Just three ingredient. Easy to make!
1 pks. of grated Mozarella Cheese
1 pks. Goya Pastry Dough
1 jar Bertoli Sause (Olive Oil, Garlic & Basil)
Take the round dough and place 1/2 a spoonful of the Bertoli sauce.
Add about 1 Tbs. of grated Mozzarella Cheese
Fold the pastry dough in half
To seal the ends, pinch the dough together using your fingers, then go over it, pressing it with a fork.
Deep fry filled pastry for about 1 min. or until brown.
Flip pastry and fry for 1 minute on this side.
Remove from oil & serve.
Hope you enjoy this delicious appetizer! This is one of my sons favorite dishes. They are so good and gooey; when I make them at home- the kids and my husband are ussually standing by with their empty plates waiting on the next one to come out from the frying pan. They get consumed faster than I can fry them. They are best when consumed right after you take them out of the fryer.
