Here is what you will need:
3/8 inch ribbon
3 gumballs per necklace
2 felt hearts
needle
metal crochet needle
- Using a metal crochet needle, pierce one side of the gumball. Hold the top of the gumball steady as you guide the needle (see photo above) move needle around in a circular motion, until you achieve the desired hole size.
2. Flip the gumball over and pierce another hole directly opposite to the first hole. If you try to poke a hole straight through both sides at once, the gumball will split.
3. Use a large needle to thread the ribbon through the gumballs. Thinner ribbon is easier to string. This is the hardest part, stringing the ribbon.
4. Tie a knot between each gumball as you string it. Remember to space them out evenly!
Gumball Necklace!
This cute necklace makes the perfect Valentine’s day gift for your kiddos & their friends.
Gumball Necklaces also make great gifts. I made this one (see photo on left) using red and yellow gumballs for a Beauty and the Beast birthday party. Each girl received a necklace inside a baggie as a thank you for coming gift!

This is seriously the cutest! I can’t wait to make some for my nieces ?
Mindy,
Thank you!! Let me know how it turns out. This is a fun project to do with the kids, they love it… you just need to get them to not eat the gumball until after the necklaces are done. That is the hardest part. Lol!
