Chobani® Gimmies™ yogurts for kids.

By now you know me pretty well, I am all about bringing glam to everyday motherhood life – just my way of trying to simplify motherhood, but still making it glamorous, so that we don’t lose sight of who we are as women! So here is my weekly dilemma…every afternoon I arrive early and park in front of the kid’s school at the pick-up line – just waiting for my kiddos to get out of school like all the other moms.   I am excited to see my kids, I do miss them during the day, so I anticipate their arrival….

…what I don’t anticipate is the little hangry mood they are in, every single afternoon. They walk up to the car with their hungry faces and I get ready for it, because as soon as they open that door, it all starts going down hill… “mommy I am hungry” ” mommy let’s go eat here, mommy let’s go eat there. mommy, mommy, mommy” and you wonder what is happening at school, are they actually eating their snacks and lunch? Please tell me some of you moms out there can relate to this? or am I alone in this odyssey?
For those of you who understand and can relate to my tale, here is what I recently found & scored major points with the kiddos.  Chobani® Gimmies™ yogurts for kids for after-school snacks.
SO….what I have been doing is placing a Chobani® Gimmies™ snack, on each of their seats, the Choco Chunk Cookie Dunk flavor for Bella and the  Ooey Gooey S’more flavor for Tyler. Every afternoon has been the same, they walk to the car, backpacks and lunch boxes fling through the window into the front passenger seat and they jump to the back in search of their snack.
There are some battles that I am willing to prevent, the after school “hangry monsters” is one of them.  Having a tasty snack + that they love + has been the key to a peaceful afternoon.  When we get home we all hit the ground running; I start prepping for dinner and the kids tackle homework. Its been so nice to have a snack for them in the car, that they can eat on the go!

​I am a happy momma, the kids are happy and anything that brings a peaceful afternoon is a huge win for this mom! HOW IT WORKS

After opening the packs, the kids have flavored yogurt on one side and a treat on the other. The treat side has all the goodies that you mix into the yogurt. The kids love eating the treat on its own and in the yogurt! Whatever they prefer is okay with me!

My Tyler agrees that its so good!

I will be totally honest with you when I say, that I do a little victory “yes dance” inside when the kids are eating & singing happily staring out the window.  I have Bruno Mars blasting on the radio on our way home and its all smiles and dancing… no more drama and whining!
